Join Tom and Max, the Sunshine State trailblazers, as they launch their latest book, Treasures of the Trails: The Cross Florida Greenway Adventure! Featuring the Old Florida Barge Canal Trail.

This exciting event will be your one-stop-shop to learn everything about this unique greenway corridor. The book explores over 300 miles of trails, perfect for hikers, bikers, kayakers, and horseback riders. Divided into 21 day trips, the book offers detailed descriptions, maps, and historical insights ("Max Notes") for each trail segment. A special highlight is Max's outlined expedition, "The Cross Florida Greenway END2END Adventure," a first-ever adventure guide for paddling, hiking, or biking the entire 110-mile route. Discover the fascinating story behind the Greenway, from its origins as the "biggest boondoggle" - the never-completed Florida Barge Canal - to its transformation into a beloved public recreation area. Learn how Marjorie Harris Carr and the Florida Defenders of the Environment played a crucial role in saving the Ocklawaha River Valley.

Signed copies of the book will be available for purchase.
