Join author Muriel Eden-Paul to discuss her book “Song of Jaybird.”
Muriel Eden-Paul was born in a Florida orange grove. She grew up exploring pastures, pine trees, hammocks, lakeshores, and roamed through rows of citrus. She says that "growing up with nature all around me impacted my work as an artist and writer, as well as defined my values for land conservation, preservation of nature and historic places."
In her historical fiction book, "Song of Jaybird," it reveals a lost past and forgotten story of Black laborers working in a turpentine camp. Signed copies of the book will be available for purchase.
